Time.
WHERE do all of you get the time to blog? So frequently and efficiently. You are all so brilliant, thoughtful, interestling, funny, witty, creative and intelligent. You are all SUCH good writers and not pissy-ass piece-meal crap like me.
I love reading and commenting on all of them, but now I find there are too many to keep up. Then I think I have something to blog about, after I sit down at the 'pute and finish reading all the other blogs first, there is no time left for me.
Holy shit people - you are SAHPs (parents); WAHP; WOHP; homeschooling (ACK!) yet you seem to always have the time. When do you clean? Eat? Sleep? Pee?
Wondering if I should focus more on being a reader or a writer? Having trouble being both.

Nancy, I sometimes feel exactly the same way. I usually blog first thing in the morning at the crack of dawn and I don't always have much to say. But, I do find that if I write my own post first then go on to read others posts, I don't have as much trouble. I sort of made it a personal challenge to be more creative with my writing. I do know I have it in me, it is just trying to get it together at that "free" time of the morning! (the rest of the day is hit and miss as far as computer time goes).
I do indeed love your posts though, so please don't stop :)
You're doing just fine! Just continue to be yourself and write whatever you want....
ME a GOOD write...your full of it! I can't even spell let alone type!
Some days I have nothing to say and I don't and some days I talk about totally nothing and some days I just read and comment and sometimes I don't
And the secert to me doing these things IS
I DON'T CLEAN! Save me alot of time where I can blog.
Notice today, no entry, that was because I was out of the house early and just got back. I could blog but MEH! I'd rather read and drink a glass of wine than write.
Somedays when I read a really good blog (Ahem yours) I think, Now I wish I could write like that. I should quit...but then where would I vent and boast and literly (I know that is spelled wrong but the wine is taking over and I don't care)bore people to death. This is as good as place as any! don't ya think?
I'll never win an award or be on someone blog roll that is important...but WHO Cares!
I got you babe!
Don't stop Please...Write when you can!
Yah.
I was going to write something just like this post. But I didn't have time.
I feel really bad lately because I am way behind on my blog reading, way way behind on my commenting, and way way WAAAAAY behind on my e-mail. I'm sure people are going to get tired of talking at me and not getting anything in return fairly soon, but there is simply not enough time.
I choose the selfish route and write blog first, simply because it feels good to do it. If I have a little time, I scan the blogs I care about from Bloglines; if I have a little more time, I comment. On a really lazy day, I link surf.
But mostly I feel guilty about not doing enough.
And by the way, your blog is among the best out there. Mark is right, you're doing fine!
Well, you'd better not quit being a reader, cuz we like your comments! Love your blog, too.

As a fellow pissy-ass piece-meal crap writer, I too feel like there's never enough time. Tend to write mine first (first in my head and then in front of 'pute when I can steal some time from everything else I have to do) and then I read, only have a select few, and often come back later to comment. I basically steal time from here and there, and do it when the kids are playing quietly which is a narrow time frame or late at night when everyone is in bed. So many times I think how if I didn't have this computer my house would be cleaner, more organized and I'd be in much better shape ;0
Love your blog too!
Clean? Eat? Sleep?
Crap, I knew I'd forgotten something.
But seriously, you know, blogging is supposed to be fun, not an obligation. Do you want to do, and what feels good and fits in your life. Don't worry about the rest of it. And as for how the rest of us have time, well, some of us have obsessive personalities and criminally low standards for housework. Uh, not that I fit in that category or anything.
"obsessive personalities and criminally low standards for housework"
Snort!
We should form a club. NOT a support group, which would imply we want to change.
Housework? Housework?
BWA HA HAAAAA!
Somebody please come pick me up off the floor.
I'd be the first to tell you that blogging is OPTIONAL. And addictive. And there are fits and spurts and lulls and bursts. Just go with what feels good. And did anyone mention insomnia? Because insomnia helps.
Insomnia! That too.
Yes, let's form a club. Then our club can have its own blog and ...
...
What?
I told you I have an obsessive personality.
I do it during my brakes at school and late at night after everyone goes to bed --
Thanx so much everyone. Aren't compliments from complete strangers just what the doctor ordered? I have more to say about this, but I'll save it for another day (like I save everything else).
Hi Fellow! I was just searching blogs, and I found yours! I like it!
