Fragrant mystery

Why is it that vomit smells the same whether it comes from your high school boyfriend while you hold his head in a bucket or from your four year old son?

Why is it that no matter how many times you wash your hands (7) with different soaps (3) the smell just won't dissipate.

Why only 2 days after the third professional french manicure in yoru lifetime, do you find yourself scraping chunks of spaghetti dinner off a comforter so it doesn't clog your washing machine?

And why, oh why, oh why does it have to happen 6 days before Christmas? Is there an unwritten golden rule about that somewhere? Blatant unfair mystery.

Awww, those little kiddies...I don't think a Christmas went by that either my son, my niece, or my nephew wasn't throwing up. I chalked it up to so much excitement and extra activiy wearing down their little immune systems.

Hope your son feels better ASAP, and the rest of the family remains immune. Blech.

Ulgh. I am so, so sorry. The tummy bugs are the worst, especially in the middle of the night. Hoping that it is short lived and its spread is contained.

That really is terrible, but hopefully it is the same stomach bug that Little Man had. He was only nauseated for about 12 hours. He was recovered in 36. Sending happy thoughts.

Oh NO! We've had so much of that running around here too. I suppose the bright side is that little boos seem to get over these types of bugs fast and he will be tickity boo for Christmas...I promise!

Now, why is it that I had Baby Boy B in my mind throughout this post?

The smell of vomit makes me gag. I always have to light candles and stuff before even attempting a clean-up ....

I can't deal with puke. Hubby does it and so far I have not had to clean it up without him home... so far... knock wood.

Hope the bug is gone as fast as it came. Good for you for the french manicure :).

I'm totally jealous of your professional french manicure.

I'm a small, small person.

(And of course, I hope your boy gets to feeling better, too.)
