The Costco Caper

Why is it that every time you head to Costco to save $10 (driving the car at gas prices $1.14/litre) that of course you'll save the $10 but always ends up costing another $150?

Robin - can you help solve this mystery? I am a little short on cash now...

Sorry I cannot help. But, I sure hope you bought something in the bakery. I want Larry to have a really good bonus this year. ;)

LOL! Too funny Nancy. As I do love Costco so much, I don't want to say anything that I will regret later. But, truly, if you don't have a serious plan when you go, you end up spending just too much. I am so proud of myself the days that I go and leave with exactly what is on my list. Since those days are far between, I try to save up for the trip! There are deals for sure, but it appears that it is all set up for impulse buying and that is what happens more often that I wish :( Ahhh.... here I go to see if I can JUST get dog food and meat today, and yes maybe a little something from the bakery ;)
